Hatch started as an outlet for two creative educators, wanting to find ways to combine their interests in typography, colour and pattern to create artwork and home decor that is vibrant and bold and stands out from the crowd!

Mike’s background is in design, he’s most happy creating digital work or in the 3D workshop bringing pieces of work to life. In his own time he enjoys spending time with his young family on mini adventures or getting lost on running trails with friends.

Amy’s background is in craft and textiles, she is most happy when playing around with colour combinations and mixed media techniques. In her own time she enjoys finding treasures in junk shops, watching true crime documentaries and chasing after two energetic little boys.

Between them they have worked in the creative arts industry for more than two decades, bringing to the business a wide knowledge of processes and approaches to create exciting products. As their business develops they look forward to providing opportunities for personal pieces and their collection growing.
